My Home & Solar
Solar Prep
Why should I switch to solar?
Most homeowners switch because utility rates keep rising. Solar gives you more control and predictability over your energy costs.
Is solar right for every home?
No. That’s why the consultation exists — to determine if it actually makes sense before moving forward.
How much does solar cost?
With a subscription plan, there are typically no large upfront costs. Pricing depends on your home and usage.
When do I start seeing savings?
Many homeowners see savings once the system is activated, depending on usage and local rates.
Is the consultation really free?
Yes. The consultation is 100% free and comes with no obligation.
Will solar work during power outages?
Backup power options are available for homeowners who want added reliability.
What happens if something breaks?
With a subscription plan, maintenance and system issues are typically covered.
How long does installation take?
Installation usually takes one to two days, after permits and approvals.
Will solar increase my home value?
Many buyers view solar as a benefit, especially when energy costs are predictable.
What if I plan to move?
Solar service agreements are designed to be transferable.
Can I cancel later? How long is the agreement? How do I know if this makes sense?
Options are reviewed upfront so you understand flexibility before committing.
Subscription terms are typically long-term and reviewed during consultation.
That’s exactly what the free consultation is for.

How does Price Work?
How is my plan pricing determined?
1
Pricing is based on how much energy your home actually uses, along with your roof layout and system production. The goal is to match your payment to your real needs not overbuild, not oversell while protecting you from future utility rate increases.
Are there any hidden fees?
2
No and it’s smart to ask. Everything is disclosed upfront before you commit. Installation, maintenance, monitoring, and service are included in your agreed upon payment. If it’s not clearly outlined in writing, it’s not something you’ll be charged for.
What happens to excess energy export credits?
3
Your system comes with long term equipment and performance warranties, along with full workmanship coverage. The installation includes roof protection, so if anything related to the system ever impacts your roof, it’s handled.
What warranties are included, and how is my roof protected?
4
When your system produces more energy than you use, the excess is sent back to the grid. Based on your local utility’s rules, those credits are applied to offset future usage, helping lower your overall costs over time. The energy you produce is designed to work for you not the utility.
